Jeff Hayes

Services for Jeffrey Lee "Jeff" Hayes, 54, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. Toby Willoughby will officiate. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery, Stratford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.     Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Hayes passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at his home. He was born February 8, 1964 at Lawton to Jimmy Clayton and Joann Carol Paulsen Hayes. He graduated from Konawa High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University.

He married Jennifer Danette Francis August 23, 1997 at Tishomingo. Mr. Hayes worked for the Chickasaw Nation at the Ada Gaming Center. Jeff was an avid cattleman, grillmaster and enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer, of the home; two children, Blakelee Hayes and Clayton Hayes, both of the home; his mother, Joann Hayes of Emmett, ID; three sisters, Leann Hayes of Konawa, Karol Burlile and husband Casey of Emmett, ID and Karri Revels and husband Jim of Konawa; a brother, Jamie Hayes and wife Amy of Burlington, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Bill Hayes; paternal grandparents, Geneva Hines McCray and Forrest Clayton Hayes; maternal grandparents, John and Thelma Paulsen.

Bearers will be Kevin Green, Bill Scarbrough, Mark Slover, Jirl Buck, Ernie Bacon and Chuck McHatton. Honorary bearers will be Wes Harden, Danny Dupree, Darrell Monroe, Phillip Landgraff, Charles Hill III, John Roberts, Mike Runner, Jeremy Richardson, Ronnie Jordan, Leonard Scarbrough, Matt Scasta, Craig Moore, Ethan Moore, Cole Moore, Louis Morton, Brett Hagar, Mark Hagar, Brian Troska, Joe Troska, JC Andras, Rodney Haynes, Scott Senkel, Todd Herman, Seth Buckley, Dustin Sheppard, Terry Jordan, Kelly Littell, Robert Arthur, Brett Carter, Jeremy Clark, Davey Young, Tim Stidham, Ricky Crane, Eric Chapman and Scott Carson.
