JEAN LOONEY
ADA-Services for Jean Looney, 70, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Carl Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mrs. Looney died Monday, March 17, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born November 15, 1937 at Owl Creek, Oklahoma to Woodrow Wilson and Eula Corinne Scott Horton. She graduated from Stonewall High School and attended Lela's Beauty College.
She married Austin Looney on March 1, 1957 in Gainesville, Texas. He died November 3, 1996. Mrs. Looney was a beautician and a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Guinn, Ada, Sherri Soward and husband Mickey, Ada, and Vicki Looney, Ada; one son, Ricky Looney and wife Carrie, Union Valley; three grandchildren, Candie Stuart, Ada, Jerri Sanders, Union Valley, and Lacy Soward, Ada; four great grandchildren, Tyler Stuart, Haley Stuart, Kaley Sanders, and Alli Sanders; and other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Gary Horton, Rick Collendar, Mickey Soward, Josh Sanders, Jason Stuart, and Terry Looney.
