JD Marion

Services for James Doyle "JD" Marion, 89, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Marion died Friday, November 5, 2021 at a local assisted living center. He was born January 4, 1932 in Allen, Texas to Willie and Mary Fondren Marion.

He married Barbara Lou Bly on July 3, 1952 in Ada. Mr. Marion retired as a foreman for Ed Anderson Quarry.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; two sons, Jim Marion and Tracy Marion, both of Ada; eight grandchildren; and numerous great and great, great-children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Willie Marion and Frank Marion; a brother Talmadge Marion; and two sisters, Freddie Marion and Billie Dean Marion.

Bearers will be grandsons.
