JASSON MORRISON
ROFF-Services for Jasson Lee Morrison, 38, Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Roff Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev.Teresa Ray will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Morrison died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home. He was born October 21, 1971 at Ada, Oklahoma to Frank M. and Phyllis Ann Nichols Morrison. He lived in this area all his life, attending Roff schools and graduating from Roff High School.
Mr. Morrison was a self-employed small engine mechanic, was affiliated with the Roff Pentecostal Holiness Church, avid fisherman and had served in the U. S. Army National Guard for 12 years.
Survivors include Lynne M. Flowers, of the home; step-daughters, Jamie D. Flowers, of the home, and Amanda L. Flowers, Berryville, AR; a daughter, Kasey Leighton, Ada; two sons, David Morrison, Fitzhugh and Chance Morrison, Springer, OK; his parents, Frank and Phyllis Morrison, Roff; one grandchild; three brothers, Michael S. Morrison, Roff, Sammy Morrison, Texola, OK, and Joshua Morrison, Roff; a sister, Valorie Ross and husband John, Roff; grandparents, Vera Morrison, Roff and Charletta Greenwell, Arkansas; three nieces and two nephews; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jackie Floyd Nicols and Samuel Frank Morrison and a great grandmother, Marie Gahagan.
Bearers will be Russel Caton, Roy Clark, Chad Hunt, George Scroggins, Joe Gordon and Corey Ross. Honorary bearers are Sammy Morrison, Joshua Morrison, John Ross, Jeremy Morrison, Harold Sheppard and Charles Sheppard.
