Jason Carpenter

Jason Carpenter, age 41, of Davis, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Medical City in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 6, 1985, in Ada, Oklahoma, to David Lynn Carpenter and Lisa Janet Frazier. A member of the Chickasaw Nation, Jason worked as a landscaper for the Chickasaw Nation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Lynn Carpenter and Lisa Janet Frazier, and one nephew.

Jason is survived by his brother, Michael Carpenter; his sisters, Kelly Sanchez Hernandez (and husband Nelson) and Crystal Carpenter; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

A wake service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Criswell Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Chickasaw Community Center. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Janetta Robison, Puac Tzol, Arnetta Miller, Clayton Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Lewis Futischa, Donnie Earp, Kerry Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Shawn Futischa. Services are under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
