ADA-Services for Jarrod Richard Laplante, 36, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Walter Kuhlman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Laplante died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home. He was born April 29, 1975 in West Covina, California to Richard and Mary Alice Garcia Laplante. He attended school in California. He moved to Ada in 2000 from California.
Survivors include his father, Richard Laplante of Ada; his mother, Mary A. Tyler of Ada; two sons, Angel Laplante and Jordan Devoras of California; a daughter, Rayanne Garcia of California; his girlfriend, Miranda Galemore of Ada; a step-daughter, Katlynn Galemore of Ada; two brothers, Jacob Laplante of Oklahoma City and Kevin Laplante and his wife Amy, niece and nephew; his grandparents, Polo Garcia, Alicia B. Garcia, and Gisele Laplante, all of California; and uncles, aunts, and cousins, all of California.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Ray Laplante; grandfather, Normand Laplante; and a great grandmother, Maria P. Hinojosa.
Bearers will be Brandon Alaee, Shannon Bell, Justin Taylor, Patrick Dennis, Justin Ragland and Randy Armstrong.
