Services for Sarah Jane "Janie" Sampson, 76, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. David Gray will officiate.  Burial will follow at Connerville Cemetery.

Mrs. Sampson died Friday, August 30, 2024 at a local nursing home. She was born February 5, 1948 in Ada to Hebert and Ruby (Price) Price.

She married Wayne Sampson and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2016.  Mrs. Sampson was employed with East Central University in the Purchasing Department.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Jennings of Ada; son, Oliver Lee Jennings; sister, Judy Magar of Ada; two grandchildren, Ashley Logan and Dakota of Blue Springs, MO, and Tristan Self of San Antonio, TX; four great-grandchildren, Ryker Dean Logan, Lily Ann Logan, Melody Diane Logan and Emelia Jane Logan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; two brothers, Jerry Price and Shade Price, Jr.; and a nephew, Andrew Price.
