ADA-Services for Janie Delores "Dee" Hutson, 80, are 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Refuge, 1001 Tipton Terrace, Ada. Rev. Carl Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmore City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hutson died Friday, March 7, 2014, at an Ada hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1934, to Thomas O. and Montie Pearl Jones Harman at Elmore City. She graduated from Elmore City High School and earned a Bachelor in Education and a Masters in Counseling at East Central University. Mrs. Hutson had worked as a secretary for Halliburton in Duncan and retired as a school teacher for Ardmore Public Schools. She attended First Baptist Church of Ardmore and had volunteered with Relay for Life.
She and Jerry F. Hutson were married in Duncan in 1961.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hutston, of the home; one daughter, Leslie Fisher-Switzer and her husband Alan, Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Wyatt Fisher, Ada, Gentry Fisher, Ada, Matt and Lauren Switzer, Oklahoma City; a cousin, Debra Stevenson and her husband Jack, Lawton; and a beloved special friend, Betty Gilliam, Ardmore
