JAN DANIELS

ADA-Services for Janice Faye "Jan" Daniels, 64, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Jamar will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng.

Mrs. Daniels died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born June 15, 1944 at Tulare, California to James and June Ashby Martin. She attended Pixley School and Tulare Union High School in Tulare, California. She attended Lela's Beauty School in Ada.

She married Ben Daniels on May 12, 1962 in California. Mrs. Daniels was the owner and operator of Hair Benders Beauty Shop until her retirement. She attended Morris Memorial Baptist Church and was a member of the Friendship Class.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Daniels, of the home; a son, Randy Daniels and wife Vanessa, Ada; two daughters, Robbie Nester and fiancé, Roy Gearhart, Ada, and Renae Cochran and husband Stan, Ada; grandchildren, Hannah Cochran, Alisha Daniels, Adalynn Daniels, Ivan Gearhart, and Lydia Gearhart; a sister, Pat Smith and husband Benny, Pixley, California; and her best friend, Betty Delozier and her husband Cliff, Stonewall.

Bearers will be Albert Hurley, Wayne Cooper, Harry Jordan, Cliff Delozier, Gene Delozier, and Jim Rice. Honorary bearer will be Johnny Jordan.
