James "Brother" Street, III
STRATFORD – Services for James Wesley "Brother" Street, III, 21, of Stratford are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Street died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Stratford. He was born September 1, 1993 in Ada to James Wesley Street, Jr. and Brandy Sue Baker Street. He graduated from Ada High School in 2012 and had attended the Pontotoc Vo-Tech for a year.
Mr. Street was currently employed with Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant and previously was the supervisor at Long John Silver Restaurant in Ada. He was affiliated with the Vamoosa Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tarna Lynn Hansen Street, of the home; his children, Anavirn "Anna" Street, Tallica Street and James Wesley Street, IV; his parents, James and Brandy Street of Stratford; his brothers and sisters, Shy Street, Zachary Street, Cailee Street, Brady Street, and Aiden Seal Street, all of Stratford, Emerald Street, Ada, Patience Esparza, McLoud, and Erika Cuzick, Kentucky; his grandparents, Terry and Bonnie Baker Shaffer, Edmond, and Beverly Roberts, Checotah; his great-grandparents, Jimmy Thomason, Ada, Jesse Shaffer, Jones and Catherine Brown, Portland, OR; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lynn Roberts, Sonny Douglas and James Wesley Street, Sr.; his great-grandparents, Jeannie M. Baker Thomason, Claudette Shaffer and Howard and Delma Easley; and an uncle, Joshua James Baker Shaffer.
Bearers will be Zachary Street, Brady Street, Aiden Seal Street, Boyce Easley, Bryce Easley, Tyra Baker, John Wilmoth and Matt Roberts. Honorary bearer will be Marcus Hansen.
