James Stephens

Memorial services for James Ferrell Stephens, 77, of Ada are 2:00 pm Friday, December 17, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home, Justin McDaniel will officiate.

Mr. Stephens passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home.  He was born July 9, 1944 in Waco, TX to James Bernard and Elsie Mae Fitzhenry Stephens.  He was a self-employed saddle maker.

Survivors are his son, Colby Stephens and wife, Erin of Lockhart, TX; daughter, Kim McCoy and husband, Justen, of Ada; brother, Danny Stephens and wife, Jimmie, of Blessing, TX; sister, Cathy Sevcik, of Hallettsville, TX; nine grandchildren, Quin McCoy, Katie Perschbacher and Laramie Wilson, Jacy and David Johnson, Ayla and Trenton Johnson, Kate and Bricen Arterberry, Gus Stephens, Sawyer Stephens, Safari Stephens, and Steele Stephens; 7 great grandchildren, Ryder Johnson, Mesa Johnson, Lexi Arterberry, Krease Arterberry, Paycus Arterberry, Jentri Johnson, Tegan Johnson; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Casey Nickolson.
