JAMES SESSIONS
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS-Services for James Weldon Sessions, 75, Wichita Falls, Texas, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenneth McCarthick will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery.
Mr. Sessions died Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Amarillo, Texas. He was born January 21, 1935 in Seymour, Texas to Ross Van and Mattie Henson Sessions. He graduated from Seymour High School and moved to the Wichita Falls area from Streetman, Texas.
He married Frances Ann Vessels on February 10, 1956. Mr. Sessions retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Chief with the rank of Master Sergeant. He worked for Northrop Grumman as an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor in Saudi Arabia from 1977 until 1982. He later worked for the Mexia State School in the Vehicle Maintenance Department. Mr. Sessions was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Ann Sessions, of the home; a son, Steven Glenn Sessions, Cape Canaveral, FL; a daughter, Regina Denise Kennedy, Spokane, WA; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Joye Ruth Walling, Wichita Falls, TX, and Doris McLennan, Walker, LA; and a brother, Jack Sessions, Denver City, TX.
