SAMMY SIMPSON
ADA-Services for James Samuel Kirk, 17, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Revs. Gary Jamar and Dennis Tate will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Sammy died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his home. He was born April 28, 1994 in Ada, Oklahoma to James Leon Kirk and Annette LaDee Simpson. He lived most of his life in Ada and recently moved to Tishomingo. He was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church at Latta.
Survivors include his mother, Annette Simpson and her boyfriend, Mark Steudeman, of the home; a brother, Dustin Simpson of Ada; nephew, Damian Simpson and his mother, Stephanie Tent; two aunts, Jodi Standon of Ada, and Donna Hayes of Tishomingo; an uncle, Ed Simpson and his wife Pam of Henderson, CO; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mart and Lena Simpson, Jim Kirk, and his great grandfather, Rev. James Kirk.
Bearers will be Brandon Tatum, Dylan Tatum, Chris Baxter, Tanner Collins, Curtis Wyatt, and Travis Standon. Honorary bearers will be Mark Steudeman and Bubba Gage.
