ALLEN-Graveside services for James Howard Russell, 62, Allen are 1:00 p.m Thursday at East Hill Cemetery in Roff. Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mr. Russell died Monday, January 18, 2010 at an Allen nursing home. He was born May 15, 1947 at Mangum, Oklahoma to Howard Eugene and Nora Ellen Olive Russell.
He attended schools in Sickle and East Walnut, near Hinton. He graduated from East Central University. Mr. Russell was a newspaper carrier for the Ada Evening News and later he worked for the call center in Ada. He was a member of Fitzhugh Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Dee Russell, Oklahoma City; and a niece, Lisa Lanier.
