GARLAND PERRY

KONAWA-Services for James Garland Perry, 50, Konawa, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Eberle will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Perry died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at his home in Konawa. He was born July 1, 1957 at Ada, Oklahoma to Jimmy Thomas and Cleta Grace Reed Perry. He graduated from Byng High School in 1975, and attended East Central University for two years.

Mr. Perry married Kelli Lynn Snyder on December 30, 1991 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was a mechanic for Transwood, and also a truck driver for Transwood. He was also a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Perry was a member of BACA – Bikers Against Child Abuse and he was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Kelli Perry, of the home; a son, Eric Perry, Ada; a daughter, Rhiannon Perry, Ada; a step-daughter, Stacy Harper and husband Nick, Miami, OK; two step-sons, Stephen McCarroll, Konawa, and Robert Smith, San Diego, CA; his father, Jimmy Perry, Stonewall; a brother, Waylon Perry and wife Kortin, Ada; a brother, Billy Hisaw, Konawa; two sisters, Joanie Ashcraft and husband Bobby, Pine Bluff, AR, and Nancy Slaughter, Pine Bluff, AR; and four grandchildren, Dalton Perry, Brianna Perry, Colan Harper, and Joey Harper.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleta Grace Hisaw and a brother, Ronald Joe Hisaw.

Bearers will be Jimmy Rodebush, Nick Harper, Dave Richards, Louis Dunlap, Glen Chocrill, and David Hodge. Honorary bearers will be his fellow BACA riders, and Dean Payne, Ryan Hisaw, Chris Bowen, and Dalton Perry.
