JIM LEON
ADA-Memorial services for James Philip "Jim" Leon, 41, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Avenue Baptist Church, Rev. John Mayhue will officiate.
Mr. Leon died on Saturday, July 4, 2009, south of Fittstown. He was born February 13, 1968, at DuPage, Illinois, to James J. and Nancy Thomas Leon. He attended grade school in River Forest near Chicago and graduated from Rush Springs High School. He moved to this area in 1989 from Rush Springs and attended college at East Central University, receiving a BA Degree in Sociology. He owned and operated Daylight Donut Shop in Ada. He was also an avid O. U. Football fan.
He married Teresa Pardue on November 13, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Leon, of the home; two daughters, Chelcee Leon, Ada; and Antaza Scott, Ada; three sons, Ryan Leon, Ada; Phillip Leon, Ada; and Jesse Scott, Ada; his mother, Nancy T. Barker, Ada; and two sisters, Amy Musshafen, Ada; and Jodi Howard, Edmond.
He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Leon; a sister, Carol Leon, and a brother, Joseph Leon.
Honorary bearers will be Dominic Novak, Paul Novak, Jimmy Novak, Marcus Heilman, John Musshafen, Mark Musshafen, Cade Griggs, Gary Cooper, Jimmy Musgrove and Jason Herring.
