Jacky E. Underwood

Services for Jacky Edwin Underwood, 63, of Stratford are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Blue Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Oak Cemetery, Enville, OK.

Mr. Underwood passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 14, 1957 in Talihina, OK to Gene Burris and Geraldine Underwood.

He married Barbara Boston November 25, 1978. Mr. Underwood was a maintenance worker for the Chickasaw Nation for 35 years, and a member of Blue Baptist Church.

He loved OU football, hunting, fastpitch softball and riding his Harley. His grandkids were the highlight of his life and he was their biggest fan.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; two sons, Benjamin Underwood and wife Brandi and Joseph Don Underwood and wife Gina; two daughters, Jackie Erin Underwood and Jerilene Underwood; a sister, Charlotte Luna; brother, Tony Poe; and ten grandchildren, Jalen, Jaden, Jayston, Jacee, Brenden, Jarin, Brenlee, Jayla, Landon and Brylee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Sheldon Mose; a niece, Chrissy Phipps; and a nephew, Isaac Underwood.

Bearers will be his nephews, Brent Underwood, Chestine Underwood, Kurt Phipps, Michael Lee Joe, Chris Boston and Mark Poe. Honorary bearers will be the Spring Creek Softball Team.
