JACKEY MYERS
ADA-Services for Jackey Eugene Myers, 81, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Myers died Monday, November 23, 2009 at his home. He was born April 16, 1928 at Cromwell, Oklahoma to Henry B. and Vecel Aretha Nunn Myers. He and his family moved to the Fittstown area when he was a child and he graduated from McLish High School.
He married Bonnie A. Davidson on August 8, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2002. Mr. Myers was an Operations Manager for B. P. Amoco Oil Company until his retirement. Later, he was a greeter at Wal-Mart. Mr. Myers was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and had served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include a son, Ron Davidson and wife Judy, Ada; three daughters, Jackie Thompson and husband Chad, Longview, TX, Connie Becker and husband Lyndon, Owasso, and Ginger Meyers, Edmond; a brother, Richard Myers and wife Winona, Durant; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother, John Myers.
Bearers will be Jake Davidson, Dylan Tatro, Alex Meyers, Jonathon Becker, Justin Becker and Coulton Burd.
