Jack Paul Rahm passed into eternal life on October 10, 2021. Jack was born to Charles Melville Rahm and Anna Julia Hartley Rahm. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles M. Rahm, Jr., and sister Patricia A. Rahm Killebrew.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Jenna Sue King Rahm of Ada, Oklahoma; daughters and their spouses, Jennifer Kay and Tim Lott of Plano, Texas; Jessica Lou and Gary Wiand of Torrington, Wyoming; Shawn Dell and Dean Doty of Allen, Texas; Shay Dawn Rahm of Edmond, Oklahoma; Leslie Ann and Ramon Zanoff of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Adriane Marie and Matt Sorum of Palm Springs, California; and brother and sister-in-law, Bruce M. and Carol Rahm of North Richland Hills, Texas; 13 beautiful grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was born on August 14, 1935, in Wynona, Oklahoma, and graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1953. He attended the University of Oklahoma on a basketball scholarship and later transferred to Oklahoma State University where he graduated in 1957 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He was also a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at OSU.
His long career in the oil and gas industry began at U.S. Steel's Oil Well Supply Division, then at Bentley & Haunschild oil transportation, next as co-owner of WeGo Perforators, and then, ultimately, as an independent oil and gas producer. In his younger days, he enjoyed dirt bikes, hunting, and never missed an opportunity to go on motorcycle trips with the Shorty Walker's Riding Club. You could always count on Jack to tell a good joke, have an opinion, and give funny nicknames for his close friends and family. He could find a project around the house faster than anyone!
Jack had a servant's heart. He was a board member of the Salvation Army and Ada Jaycees. He served on various church committees and as an usher at First United Methodist Church for more than 30 years. The Methodist Men's Bible Study was near and dear to his heart. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ada Foundation.
The service will be streamed and available at fumcada.org. If attending the service in person, the family respectfully asks that masks be worn.
