ADA-Memorial services for J. T. Savage, 77, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Rosedale Cemetery. Chaplain Susan Ayers will officiate.
Mr. Savage died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born March 15, 1936 in Idabel, Oklahoma to James Trilby and Daisey Bailey Savage. He attended Crooked Oak grade school and graduated from Capitol Hill High School.
He married Virginia Mae Williams on December 3, 1955 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Mr. Savage was a cement mason for Jecowski and Markel in southern California. He and his wife moved to this area in November, 1990 from Tustin, California.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Savage, of the home; two nieces, Susan Butler and husband Kenny, and Cindy Apap; a nephew, Wesley Williams; great nephew, Woodie Williams; great nieces, Kris Camarda and Chris Camarda; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Mae Apap; great great niece and nephew, Nicole and Vincent Camarda; special friends, Michel Strickland, Nancy Parker and Patricia and Cruz Islas.
He was preceded in death by parents, one brother and two sisters.
