Graveside services for J. D. Norman, 93, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Steve Simpson will officiate.

Mr. Norman died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at a local hospital. He was born November 10, 1927 in Pontotoc to Charles Ed and Stella May Cravatt Norman. His mother was an original Chickasaw enrollee.

He married Lois Faye Robbins. She preceded him in death.  He later married Joyce McBee Stiles on July 13, 1994. Mr. Norman received his Bachelor and Master's Degree from East Central University. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy retiring after 15 years of service and served 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, retiring as a Master Sgt., and later retired from the Ada Police Department in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Norman, of the home; his children, Julie Norman, Tony Norman, Leo Norman, Brent Stiles, Kermit Stiles, Keith Stiles, and Alan Stiles; and a grandson, Justin Daniel Jackson.

All of his siblings preceded him in death.
