J. C. BOTTOMS, JR.

ROFF-Memorial services for J. C. Bottoms, Jr., 43, Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Church.

Mr. Bottoms died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born June 7, 1964 at San Bernardino, California to J. C. Bottoms, Sr. and Nancy Luther Bottoms. He attended school in Ada and lived in Roff the last 17 years.

He married Emma Schafer on June 23, 1989 at Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Bottoms was a self-employed laborer and affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Bottoms, of the home; one daughter, Rachel Keene and husband Jason Dobbs, Ada; one grandson, Trayson Dobbs, Ada; his mother, Nancy Luther Owens, Roff; three step-daughters, Dannielle Brady, Ada, Lori Wright, Ada, and Ruth Gallop, Enos, OK; four step-sons, Lance Booth, Ada, Jesse Booth, Ada, Raymond Wright, Ada, and Shannon Wright, Ada; his maternal grandmother, Jewel Chesser, Ada; two sisters, Cindy Deatherage and husband Monte, Ada, and Lindy Taylor, Reno, Nevada; one brother, Ricky Standon, Arizona; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, J. C. Bottoms, Sr., two brothers, Curtis Standon, and Bobby Standon; and one nephew, Nathan Standon.
