ADA- Services for Wanda Landrith, 88, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. The family will receive friends at Criswell Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Landrith died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at her home. She was born February 23, 1924 in Ada, Oklahoma to Drexel Sales and Irma Henry Sales. She graduated from Byng High School in 1941 and attended East Central University.
She married Leon "Skeeter" Landrith on January 14, 1943 in Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2008. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church for over 60 years. Mrs. Landrith retired, after 38 years, from Oklahoma State Bank where she was employed from 1945 to 1983.
Survivors include a son, Mark Landrith and wife Teresa of Edmond, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Lindsay Ratzlaff and husband Tyson of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Wyatt Landrith and Haley Landrith of Edmond, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren, Kate and Parks Ratzlaff of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; one sister, Bobbie Gray of Ada; and one brother, Keith Sales and wife Warna of Electra, Texas; sister-in-law, Ernestine Eubank, of Ada; brother-in-law Doyle Johnson of Ada; and many nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Wyatt Landrith, Lee Murray, Phil Murray, Chris Feiler, Pat Harrison and Bronson Warren. Honorary bearers will be Bud Blackburn, J.D. Branscum, Jack Jones, Zane Bowman, Trent Briggs, Bobby Johns, Tommy Landrith and Bruce Johnson.
