Irene Anglin

Services for Irene Williford Anglin , 90, of Forney, TX, formerly of Clarita, OK, are at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Clarita United Methodist Church. Pastor Lyle Shipley and Dr. Ben Husted will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery near Wapanucka. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday at Clarita United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Anglin passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, in Mesquite, TX. She was born May 15, 1925, in Clarita, to Horace and Maudie Mae Patton Maynard. She graduated from Clarita High School and attended East Central State College in Ada.

She married William Ester Anglin in Monterrey, CA, on May 15, 1948. In 1950 the two moved back to Clarita. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Anglin retired after 41 years as the Financial Secretary at Olney High School, in Olney, OK. She was a longtime member of the Clarita United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Sharron Esther Wolfe and her husband David, Charlotte Irene Baughman, and Warren Edley Anglin; her grandchildren, William Neal Baughman and his wife Barbara, Patricia Davonne Neerman and her husband Jonathan, Benaa Irey and her husband Joseph, and Angelin Rene' Wolfe; and seven great-grandchildren, Emmalee Irey, Esther Neerman, Embree Irey, Jonathan Neerman, Jr., James Irey, Ashley Gordon and Al Aleman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, on Oct. 11, 1959.

Bearers will be O. N. Riley, Clint Dilbeck, Bob Miles, and Jerry Romines. Honorary bearers will be Charles Thompson, Ronal Collins, Roy Campbell, and Greg Davidson.
