INGEBORG BLACK
ALLEN-Services for Ingeborg W. Black, 80, Allen, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.
Ms. Black died Friday, September 18, 2009, at her home. She was born August 8, 1929, to Herrmann and Elfriede Volk Wildberger in Frankfurt, Germany. She graduated from high school in 1947 in Germany and attended one year of college. She and Burl Black were married in 1957. She moved to the Allen area in 1972 from Oklahoma City and was employed as a certified medication assistant at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Allen for 37 years. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include two daughters, Morieta Denise Black, Houston, Texas, and Belinda Yvonne Bingham, Allen; one son, Blain Black, Houston, Texas; one sister, Erika Dillman, Birkenfeld, Germany; and six grandchildren, Jason Treat, Tracy Lindley, Daniel Treat, Tara Bingham, Kristin Black and Megan Bingham.
Bearers are Jason Treat, Daniel Treat, Jeff Treat, Gary Bingham, Michael Lindley and Jimmy Nix.
