INEZ HISLE
ADA-Services for Inez Hisle, 94, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ on 32nd Street, Carl Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Hisle died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born February 2, 1916 at Checotah, Oklahoma to Edward and Myrtle Jones Sizemore. She received her nurse's training at Muskogee General Hospital and moved to Ada in 1938 from Muskogee.
She married Walker J. Hisle on June 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2004. Mrs. Hisle was an original staff member at Valley View Hospital when it opened in 1938, and worked there for over 50 years. Later, she was a County Health Nurse. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Hisle and wife Darlene, Ada, and Bill Hisle and wife Jean, Ada; four grandchildren, Deborah Holt and Jody Hisle, Beth Thomsen, and Lindsay Gaston; and two great grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jack Hisle, Wade Hisle, Butch Hisle, Marcus Helms, Darrell Gould, and Roger Cosby.
