IMOGENE (WISE) RAINS
OKLAHOMA CITY- Graveside services for Imogene Wise Rains, 84, Oklahoma City, formerly of the Stonewall area, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Don Hoover officiating.
Mrs. Rains died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born June 25, 1924, at Stratford to Thomas and Edna McKeel Wise. She attended school at Stonewall. She lived in Oklahoma City for many years and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Dejarnette and husband Mark, Oklahoma City; three sons, Samuel Rains and wife Mary, Humble, Texas; Phillip Rains and wife Cathy, Oklahoma City; and Mark Rains and wife Linda, Atoka; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Terry Stone, Richard Stone, Josh Sanders, Sammy Rains, Henry Wise, and Henry Allen.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104-9930.
