Ila Samantha Kirk

Ila Samantha Ford-Kirk born January 19, 1923 passed away July 5 ^th , 2019 at her home in Roff, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family and friends. She was 96.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 9 ^th , 2019 at Roff Pentecostal Holiness Church, 601 East Main in Roff, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held at Criswell Funeral Home, 815 Arlington St. Ada, Oklahoma from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Monday July 8 ^th . Pastor Cary Gerth officiating. Arrangements with Criswell Funeral Home.

She married James Patrick Kirk on April 30, 1937 in DeQueen Arkansas. She was a pastor's wife for 57 years. She was the most humble, caring person you could ever hope to meet. She loved everyone she met and they loved her. She never had step-grandchildren; in her eyes they were all her own. She never divorced her in-laws; if you married into her family, you were family for life.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 9 siblings, her husband James Patrick Kirk, her son Jimmie Leon Kirk, a granddaughter Illa Samantha Kirk, a grandson George Matthew Kirk Jr., and daughter-in-law Linda Joyce McClure-Kirk. She is survived by one son, George Matthew Kirk Sr. of Roff, Oklahoma, three daughters, Ella Ross and husband Charles of Roff, Oklahoma, Mary and John Brown, of Granbury, Texas, and Susan Householder and husband David of Paris, Texas, 12 grandchildren, over 100 great and great-great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Householder, Eric Householder, Kevin Lindsey, Tylor Lindsey, Jace Lindsey, and William Spatz III. Honorary bearers will be James Patrick Kirk, Ayrton Daniels and Dustin Dewayne Kirk.
