Ida Jean Little
PONTOTOC-Services for Ida Jean Little, 78, of Pontotoc, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the River of Life Church, Rev. Charles Dial will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Little died Saturday, March 28, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was born August 19, 1936 in Hickory to Owen Vincent and Ada Mae Carmichael Stout. She graduated from Hickory High School.
She married James Edgar Little on July 17, 1959. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Little was a homemaker and a member of the River of Life Church.
Survivors include a son, James Little, Pontotoc; two daughters, Teresa Little, Stonewall and Kay Rolen and husband Don, Fittstown; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Rolen; her husband, Edgar Little; parents, Owen Vincent Stout and Ada Mae Carmichael Stout; one brother; and two sisters.
Bearers will be Johnny Rolen, Troy Byrd, Bland Pittman, Jason Rolen, Carl Savage and Jerry Putman. Honorary bearers will be Vaughn Hall, Roger Pittman, Gary Rolen, Terry Rolen and John Rolen.
