ADA-Services for Ida Clareca Houchen Bishop, 60, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Mark Goodwin will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop died Monday, August 4, 2014 at her home. She was born March 18, 1954 in Ada to Rev. J. H. "Hoot" Houchen and Ethelyne Tatum Houchen. She attended Latta schools.
She married Rick Bishop on September 24, 1976 in Ada. Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Bishop, of the home; two sons, Michael Wayne Lawrence of Shawnee and Dustin James Bishop of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Judy Houchen of Eufaula and Shirley Phillips of Ada; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Julious Hoover "Hoot" Houchen; her mother and step-father, Ethelyne and Claude Arterburn; a son, Scotty Lee Houchen; sister, Debbie Houchen; and brother, "Punch" Houchen.
Bearers will be Dustin Bishop, Michael Lawrence, Jake Houchen, Mark Goodwin, Kenny Lamb, Tim Sherwood, Shirley Phillips, and Judy Houchen.
