HOUSTON BROWN
ADA-Services for Houston Nathan Brown, 59, Ada, are 1:00 p.m Saturday at the Reaper Baptist Church, Rev. Clarence Seals will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Flat Cemetery, near Maxwell.
Mr. Brown died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born July 7, 1948 in the Maxwell Community, northwest of Ada to Eddie and Hattie Franklin Brown. He attended Napier school and Byng High School.
He married Ruby Beal on January 7, 1992. Mr. Brown was a mechanic rebuilding and repairing small engines. He was a member of Reaper Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Brown, of the home; two sons, Houston Nathan Brown, Jr., Ada, and Christopher Lee Brown, California; three daughters, Cassandra Brown Gore, Stonewall, Tarcer Brown, Madill, and Summer Brown, Madill; two sisters, Maggie Liza Luckey, Ada, and Ellen Henderson, Oklahoma City; a brother, Johnny Welborn Brown, Ada; 16 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
His nephews will serve as bearers.
