Hershell Hampton

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Homer Baptist Church for Hershell Dewayne Hampton, 76, of Ada.

Mr. Hampton passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.  He was born December 11, 1946 in Ada, OK to Collin Hershell and Jessie Wylie Hampton.

On September 15, 1969 he married Donna Lou Byers.  He served in the United States Army.

Mr. Hampton is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Ronald Hampton and wife Debbie of Washington, PA; one daughter, Cynthia Beard of Gatesville, TX; one sister, Jean Gunter of Louisiana; and four grandchildren, Samantha Hampton, Amber Hampton, Justin Beard and Michael Beard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters and one brother.
