HENRY SINGLETON
ADA-Services for Henry William Singleton, 90, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Centrahoma Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard at the cemetery.
Mr. Singleton died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at his home. He was born Feb. 20, 1921, to William Henry and Dora Lee Van Hooser Singleton at Centrahoma. He attended Centrahoma Schools and was a retired Coal County employee. He had served as a Coal County Commissioner.
He and Hazel H. Rollins were married Aug. 4, 1942. She died Feb. 6, 2009, at Ada.
Survivors include two daughters, Reta Koopman, New Port Richey, Florida, and Kathy Roundtree, Sulphur; four sons, Larry Singleton, Las Vegas, Nevada, Bill Singleton, Big Bear, California, Bob Singleton, Big Bear, California, and Nick Singleton, Carson City, Nevada; a brother, Bill Sneed, Ontario, California; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
