WAYNE HAIGOOD
ADA-Services for Henry Wayne Haigood, 64, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Barry Tilley officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mr. Haigood died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Haigood was born Dec. 29, 1945, to James Luther and Eula Marie Nash Haigood, in Tahoka, Texas. He graduated from high school in Lubbock, Texas. He and LaVelle Marshall were married Jan. 29, 1965. They moved to Ada in December 2008 where he was a sales consultant at Quality Autos in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, LaVelle, of the home; two daughters, Debbie Reeves and husband Dennis, Midland, Texas, and Lisa and husband Rev. Greg Newton, Elk City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sue Haigood and Doris Robbins, both of Buda, Texas; grandchildren, Caleb Reeves, Stephenville, Texas, Ashley and husband Jeff Ward, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Landon Reeves, Midland, Texas, Brooklyn Newton and Brittan Newton, both of Elk City, Oklahoma; and four great-grandchildren, Paityn, Samuel, Vivian and Rylan Ward.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jim Haigood and Allen Haigood.
Bearers are grandsons, Caleb Reeves and Landon Reeves, and Paul Marshall, Ray Marshall, Casey Marshall and Greg Marshall. Honorary bearers are Dustin Haigood and Lloyd Marshall.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Halo Hospice, 1298 North Hills Shopping Centre, Ada, OK 74820.
