HENRY ALLEN
STONEWALL-Memorial services for Henry Cecil "Chicken Hawk" Allen, 68, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Family friend, Rev. Walter Whitney will officiate.
Mr. Allen passed away peacefully Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Sulphur Veterans Center. He was born April 14, 1944 in San Joaquin, California to George and Opal Wise Allen. He attended Stonewall schools.
Mr. Allen served in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam as an aviation mechanic. He married Rose Lee Ruston July 1988. He was a police officer for the Ada Police Department for 31 years.
He was an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his dog, Rae Rae.
Mr. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Rose Lee Allen, of the home; a son, Charles Allen of Dallas, TX; a granddaughter whom he reared, Antonia "Nia" Ruston of Ada; two step-children, Anthony Ruston and wife Jeannie of Ada, and Lynda Keith and husband Rodney of Coldwater, KS; a granddaughter, Janell Simentel and huband Angel of Coldwater, KS; a grandson, Lee Ruston of Ada; and two great grandchildren, Nikole and Jasmine.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Damian Ruston.
