FERN WHITE
ADA-Services for Helen Fern White, 85, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. White died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born October 24, 1925 in Kansas to Homer Muck, Sr. and Grace Wampler Muck.
She married William Curtis "Bill" White on August 14, 1961 in Ada. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1994. Mrs. White was employed at Iron-J Grocery store on Main and Oak, at Liberty Café on Main Street, then at Valley View Regional Hospital on the 2nd floor and later in the Intensive Care Unit for a total of 37 years of service. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Donald White and wife Tammy, Ada; a daughter, Linda White, of the home; three grandchildren, Tommy Ellis, David White and Faye Mast, all of Ada; two great grandchildren, Zachary Ellis and Kaylee Mast; sisters, Hazel Holloway and husband Dave, Safford, AZ, and Mary Lou Loman, Alabama; and sisters-in-law, Sue Muck, Elanor Muck, and Margaret Muck
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Steven Ellis, and siblings, Homer Muck, Jr., Ray Muck, Ruby Williams, Billy Muck, Leonard Muck and Marvin Muck.
Bearers will be Bob Nessel, Clay Potter, Tommie Estes, Jr., Danny Dickerson, Donald Johnson and Ronnie Mackey.
