Helen Vitale

Services for Helen Ruth Vitale, 100, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Father Aaron Foshee will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Vitale passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at a local nursing home. She was born June 27, 1919 at Bonham, Texas to Sam and Vernie Morgan Segler. She graduated from Bonham High School.

Mrs. Vitale was a Restaurant Hostess and waitress in New York during her working career and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sister, Billie Marcela Polyak, Lake Elsinore, CA; many nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Bob O'Hara and Frank Vitale; four sisters, Clara Sires, Effie James, Dora Segler, and Edna Brewer; and a brother, Earnest Segler.
