ROFF-Services for Helen Jean Crawford, 69, Roff, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Ada, Rev. Steve Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Crawford died Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Roff. She was born September 30, 1941 in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma to Orbra Clyde and Lucille Flora Rose Young.
She married Ronald Loy Crawford on October 23, 1982 in Fitzhugh. Mrs. Crawford was the Postmaster in Roff for 25 years and retired from the Postal Service after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Fitzhugh United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and a member of the Roff Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Crawford, of the home; three children, Lisa Smith, Paoli, Steve Burrows and wife Tina, Roff, and Jay Burrows and wife Nelda, Roff; a step-daughter, Tonya Anne Davis and husband Joe, Duncan; her grandchildren, Andrew Burrows, New York City, NY, Ashley Davis and husband Cody, Pauls Valley, Caleb Burrows, Tupelo, Alyssa Kirkes, Paoli, Sarah Burrows, Roff, Harley Davis, Duncan, and Lilly Davis, Duncan; a brother, Ray Young and wife Karen, Pueblo, CO; a sister, Wanda Sandefur and husband Thomas, Kingfisher; a sister-in-law, Ann Young, Bella Vista, AR; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dean Young; and a granddaughter, Jessyka Taylor Kirkes.
Bearers will be Jay Burrows, Caleb Burrows, Brett Chandler, Steve Burrows, Andrew Burrows, and Carl Lemmings.
