HELEN COOPER
ADA-Graveside services for Helen Cooper, 88, Ada, are 2:00 P.M. Thursday at I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Carrollton, Kentucky, Quinten Stieff officiating.
Mrs. Cooper died on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at an Allen nursing home. She was born October 12, 1920, at Madison, Indiana, to David Matthew Davis and Charlotte Ruth Schmidt Davis. She graduated from Southridge High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was employed with Eli-Lilly Pharmaceutical Company in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Case Worker and later she co-owned and operated Cooper's Television Sales in Marion, Indiana. She was affiliated with Trinity Baptist Church in Ada, and moved to this area in September 2006, from Denton, Texas.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Straughn and her husband Gregory, Ada and Ruth Stieff and her husband Quinten, Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Tom Davis and his wife Anna, Noblesville, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
