MCALESTER-Services for Heidrun "Heidi" Schneider Green, 69, of McAlester are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Rev. Shelby Pearcy will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green died Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home in McAlester. She was born March 6, 1945 in Erlangen, Germany to Heinrich and Lina Zimmermann Schneider. She attended school in Germany.
She married James Green on August 28, 1964 in Ada. She and her family moved to McAlester in 1966. Mrs. Green was employed with the Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, James Green, of the home; two sons, Michael E. Green of McAlester and Ronald D. Green of Bugtussle; four grandchildren, Trask Michael Green, Kylie Jo Green, Cody Hensley and Cassie Martin; a great-granddaughter, Brooke Martin; and a sister, Hildi Wilde of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
