Heath passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the McAlester Regional Hospital. He was born November 14, 2008 to George Matthew Medcalf and Scottie Jo Blaylock Medcalf. Heath was a determined and intelligent young man who had a great work ethic set to graduate in 2026.
Survivors include his mother, Scottie Medcalf and Jeremi Lemp of Stuart; his father, George Medcalf of Yukon; a sister, Kaylyn "KK" Medcalf of Stuart; maternal grandparents, Brent "Pap" and Georgia "Mammy" Blaylock of Stuart; paternal grandmother, Debbie "Nana" and Lincoln "Papa" Taylor of Yukon; paternal grandfather, Gary "Pawpaw" Ross and Terra "Meme" of Ada; maternal Aunt Dixie Sparks and Dustin, Drai and Drew; Aunt Mandy Crockett and Jeremy, Ethan and Conner; paternal Aunt Beverly and Gabriel Cannon, George and Kirby Gillum; maternal aunt Kari Medcalf, Sara Nolan and Collin Medcalf; paternal uncle K.C. Medcalf, Aubree and Kassadee; paternal uncle Lincoln Taylor, Graycen and Kallie, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Heath loved his friends, his family, and his truck. His favorite places to be were outside hunting, fishing, or under a hood. He loved working with his Uncle Dustin and his cousin Rowdy Wrecks. He looked up to his cousin George and spent as much time as possible with all members of his family. He loved big and hard and a lot. When you were loved by Heath, you were truly loved. He took all the best parts from his family members and was the greatest of us. He was respectful and kind, but also hilarious. He had the best smile and it truly lit up the world.
He and KK were partners in crime, but wouldn't spare the opportunity to pester each other when given the chance. They knew each other's deepest secrets, biggest fears and shared a kind of love only a brother and sister can have. Built in best friends. A bond that holds through life and death. He will be deeply missed by all.
This one ain't gonna buff, Boy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Alvin Medcalf and maternal uncle William Blaylock.
Pallbearers will be George Gillum, Drew Sparks, Drai Sparks, Rowdy Jones, Braden Specht, Case Watkins, Presley Gleese, and Zane Morris.
