MIDWEST CITY-Services for Haskell Beller, 87, Midwest City, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Patton will officiate and burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard at the cemetery.
Mr. Beller died March 1, 2013, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1926, to Archie and Mary McCloud Beller at Ada. He lived in the Ada area most of his life, moving to Midwest City four years ago. He retired as a supervisor for the Oklahoma City Board of Education in 1986 and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Beller served in the United States Army during World War II.
He and Dortha Louise Denham were married Jan. 10, 1947, in Ada. She died Oct. 31, 2012.
Survivors include one brother, Gene Beller and wife Arlene, Wolf; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Henry, Prague; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be James Doyle, Kenny Doyle, Joe Ward, Tom Ward, Peter Doyle and Kenny Doyle II. Honorary bearers are Ryan Ward and Nate Ward.
