LYNN WEATHERLY

ROFF-Services for Lynn Weatherly, 81, Roff, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Roff First Baptist Church, Revs. Tony Folger and Shawn Priddy officiating. Burial follows at East Hill Cemetery in Roff at a later date.

Mr. Weatherly died on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at his home. He was born September 19, 1929, in Fleetwood, Oklahoma, to Roy and Ruby Matthews Weatherly. He graduated from Terral High School and moved to this area in 2002 from Terral. In addition to being a life long farmer, He owned and operated 3 grain elevators, a cotton gin, and a trucking company. After retiring and moving to Roff, he raised and sold vegetables at the Ada Farmers market. He was a Baptist.

He married Yvonne Jackson on May 23, 1950, in Henrietta, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne, of the home; two daughters, Cathy Roberts and husband Tom, Fitzhugh; and Sherry Pewitt and husband Ed, Ryan, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jodi Lapham and husband Ray; Dustin Weatherly and wife Connie; Denver Weatherly; and Justin Anderson and wife Machelle; and eight great grandchildren.

Honorary bearers are Gary Green, Dub Tolliver, Avery Linton, Garland Jackson, Ron Crawford, Will Hewitt, Joey Morrow, Paul Riley, Gene Orsack and Eldon Moffitt.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to Roff First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 235, Roff, OK 74865, or to the Roff Senior Citizens Center.
