HAROLD WINN
ROFF-Services for Harold Lester Winn, 82, of Roff are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Oklahoma City, Pastor Wanda Littrell will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Mr. Winn died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at an Oklahoma City hospital.
He was born July 27, 1932 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Lester Harrison and Florence Berneice Roberts Winn. He graduated from Cherokee High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University and a Master's degree in counseling from Oklahoma State University.
He married Doris Mae Young on May 31, 1957 at Fitzhugh. Mr. Winn was a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Visual Services for the State of Oklahoma. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Fitzhugh.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Winn, of the home; five sisters, Maxine Allsup and LaValrie Bevins, both of Claremore, Elleen Gunter of New Braunfels, TX, Marieta Coleman, Claremore and Kathy Tatum, Nowata; a brother, Clifford Winn of Claremore; an aunt, Gladys Thomas of Claremore; niece, Stephanie Wilson; great niece and great nephew, Emma and Seth Wilson; close friends, David, Becky, Delaney and Joseph Broadie and Kathy, Kevin and Starlia Pritchard; and numerous other nieces and nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ron and Don Winn; a daughter, Starlia Jean Horsfall; and two brothers, Wesley Winn and Terry Winn.
