Harold Williams

Funeral Services for Harold Dean Williams, 66, of Roff are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Messiah's Temple in Wewoka, Revs. Thomas Little and Steve Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery near Wewoka. A Wake Service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Refreshments following.

Reverend Williams passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at an Ada hospital. He was born December 9, 1953 at Pawnee to Arthur and Patricia Pratt Williams. He attended Pawnee and Norman schools. Mr. Williams was a longtime resident of Roff.

He married LaDoria Alexander June 2, 2002. Rev. Williams was the Assistant Manager of Security for the Chickasaw Nation. He also served as a Minister of the Full Gospel faith and ordained by Pastor Nadine McBeth. He loved to sing, play his guitar, travel, and study his Bible. Rev. Williams was a mentor to a lot of musicians in Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife, LaDoria, of the home; two daughters, Dana Barriga and husband Albert, Norman and Ronalda Herrod and husband Anthony, Okmulgee; two sons, Kenneth Williams, Shawnee and Ronnie Alexander and wife Brittany, Sulphur; two sisters, Kathryn Williams, Norman and Paula Lime, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Arthur Williams, Norman and Steve Williams and wife Clarice, Norman; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Harold "J.R." Williams, Jr.; brother, Barry Williams; and two sisters, Teresa Thomas and Susan Williams.

Bearers will be Kenneth Williams, Courageous Herrod, Elias "Kabush" Barriga, Randall West, Miles Thomas, Seth Williams and Colton Williams. Honorary bearers will be Andrew Lime, Johnny Wolf, Larry Harrison, Russell Horn, Joseph Wolf, Tony Melton and Arthur "Locum" Williams, Jr.
