HARLEY BRYANT
LULA-Services for Harley D. Bryant, 71, Lula, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Oklahoma.
Mr. Bryant died Friday, June 6, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born December 10, 1936 at Littlefield, Texas to Dillard and Jewel Mixon Bryant. He attended grade school in Littlefield and graduated from Littlefield High School. He came to the Lula area 11 years ago from Hinton, Oklahoma.
He married Sue Carpenter in 1984. He was a farmer and a rancher. Mr. Bryant was an active member, a deacon and a construction overseer of the Union Valley Baptist Church and a board member of The Gospel Station Network.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Bryant, of the home; four daughters, Stephanie Luedke, Humble, TX, Latayne Smith, Newkirk, OK, Kim Morris, Dallas, TX, and Tammy Lowery, Blanchard, OK; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Bearers are Deacons of the Union Valley Baptist Church. Honorary bearers will be George Bolen and Paul Renfroe.
