Gwendolyn Jensen

Funeral services for Gloria Gwendolyn Jensen will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Larry Bauman and Steve Farmer will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Gwen was born on July 4, 1934, in the old home place in, Bebee, Oklahoma.

She died on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma, with her surviving siblings, her daughter, daughter-in-law, and her caregiver at her side.

She attended and graduated from Ada High School and later worked at the old Sugg Clinic as an X-Ray Technician.

She later married Gavin Jensen and moved to Omaha, Nebraska.  Between them, they had three children; Kimberly, Brenda, and Jeffery.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Koontz; daughter-in-law, Debi Tilley; brothers, David Golden and his wife Virginia, Glen Golden and his wife Marlene, sister, Margaret Summers-Beck and her husband Les.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Thelma Golden; her son Jeffery Tilley; daughter, Kimberly Milstead; husband Gavin Jensen; and sister, Anna Jean Farmer.

Gwen lived in Crowder, Oklahoma, approximately 40 years on Lake Eufaula with her husband, Gavin Jensen, who was an avid fisherman.  They both loved having people over for fishing, boating, and eating fried catfish.

She was an active member of the Canadian Methodist Church and the "Tea Room Tootsies".  While living on the banks of the lake, she had many countless, faithful and loving neighbors throughout the years.

Bearers are Kevin Farmer, Mike Summers, Fred Duncan, Buddy Lee Barnes, Danny Milstead, and Billy Price.  Honorary bearers are Bill Ritchards, Doug Holub, Jerry Duncan, Austin Rogers, Ronnie Pulchney, and Levi Molini.
