GWEN THURMAN
ADA-Services for Elizabeth Gwen Johnson Thurman, 44, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Richard Atzbach will officiate. Burial will follow at Box X Cemetery, northwest of Ada.
Mrs. Thurman died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at a Midwest City hospital. She was born November 20, 1969 in Ada, Oklahoma to Billy Roy and Helen Hilton Johnson. She attended Ada schools.
She married Donald Thurman. Mrs. Thurman was a nurse's aide at Ballard Care Center and also a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Thurman; one son, Johnny M. Roland of Ada; three daughters, Ashlan Ray Stewart, and Sarah and Celeste Lyda, all of Ada; her mother, Helen Johnson of Ada; three brothers, Danny Wall, Billy Dwight Johnson and Steven Shane Johnson; and a granddaughter, Anna Bell Walker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Roy Johnson.
