GRACY GILGER

ADA-Services for Gracy Savannah Ratcliff Gilger, 76, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Central Church of Christ, Ed Poblete will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall.

Gracy died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born October 23, 1931 McDowell County, North Carolina to Arrie Monroe and Sippie Howard Ratcliff.

She married Meade Gilger. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Gilger was a waitress and a saddle tooler and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Joy Crabtree and husband Todd, Ada; a son, Rusty Goza, Wichita, Kansas; two granddaughters, Elisabeth Crabtree, Ada, and Laura Crabtree, Ada; six grandsons, Shannon Simpson, Evan Goza, Cameron Goza, Jason Goza, Tyler Goza and Zachary Goza; three sisters, Robin Dutkiewicz, Glen Flora, WI, Evelyn Bowen, North Carolina, and Vivian Middleton, North Carolina; and four brothers, Richard Ratcliff, Archdale, North Carolina, James Ratcliff, North Carolina, Robert Ratcliff, Georgia, and Steve Ratcliff, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Gary Goza.

Bearers will be Todd Crabtree, Bennie Cope, Tyler Cope, Ed Poblete, Bill Nelson, and Rusty Goza. Honorary bearers will be Don Dutkiewicz and Don Ellis.
