GRACE NUNER
OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Grace Nuner, 82, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Fittstown and Ada are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Ada, Revs. Theo "Doc" Benson, Roland Barrick and Temple Diehl will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Nuner died Monday, April 15, 2013 at an Oklahoma City care center. She was born August 1, 1930 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma to Thomas and Wilhelmina Underwood Ralston. She attended Wapanucka schools and graduated from Wapanucka High School.
She married Richard Nuner on January 24, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2006. Mrs. Nuner was a homemaker and a longtime active member of the Fittstown United Methodist Church and Asbury United Methodist Church. She also had served as a den mother for cub scouts.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Nuner and wife Susan of Tulsa, and Phillip Nuner and wife Karin of Stonewall; a daughter, Cheryl Moore and husband Kemp of Newcastle; a sister-in-law, Alma Cartwright of Weatherford, TX; her grandchildren, Jeff Nuner, Eric Nuner, Jay O'Brien, Chris Blackburn, Preston and Camron Nuner, Laura Dickison, Andrew Dickison, Stuart Dickison and James Dickison; and 11 great grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as bearers.
